Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) made in Nepal

In the initation of Mahabir Pun Chairman of National Innovation Center, garment factory of Nepal has manufactured PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) locally. The glasses are also manufactured locally here. Garment factories have agreed to manufacture these for free and the cost of one suit with material is around NPR 500-550. This PPE is made of special fabric known as Taffeta which is water and wind proof, other materials used are elastic, chain, etc.
These suits will be given to hospitals and medical centres around town for the cost price after manufacturing.
